Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers are injectable substances used to restore or enhance fullness to the lips or to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and lines, such as nasolabial folds. A soft and natural correction can be made to the tear trough area under the eye. Dermal fillers boost the skin's hydration naturally by restoring youthful volume. Restylane and Juvederm are generally used.

Price Guide - the amount injected will vary depending on the outcome you hope for. The cost will be discussed at your consultation.

What is Restylane?

Restylane¬ģ was the first cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane¬ģ is a crystal-clear gel called NASHA, or Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA is biodegradable and completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid

What is Juvederm?

Juv√©derm¬ģ ULTRA is a new generation of dermal filler from ALLERGAN, a world leader in surgical and non-surgical aesthetic products. It's a natural, biodegradable gel that flows easily into your skin, instantly filling out those troublesome lines leaving a smooth and natural look and feel. So, you'll notice an immediate difference after just one treatment.

What does Nakedhealth's Mr Gateley think about the Dermal Filler Industry?

"We fully expect the unregulated cosmetic filler industry to fall under the spotlight following the recent breast implant scandal. It is very worrying that there are a large number of fillers being administered on the high street by people with no medical knowledge. I have always thought this to be completely unacceptable and not in a patient's best interests. The injector should not only have the medical knowledge required to inject safely but also be qualified to treat any associated complications should they arise. In my opinion this should be either a cosmetic surgeon or their cosmetic nurse under supervision. Fillers, I believe should be temporary and I will only use Hyaluronic acid from one of the 6 FDA approved companies in the US. It is frankly astonishing that there are over 160 certified for sale in the UK."

"I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the care and attention I have received over the past months. All the products and treatments I have had and are having are making a very positive and noticeable change. I have a long history of having treatments and the experience with Nakedhealth has been truly the best and most satisfactory, thank you"
