About the treatment

Developed and manufactured in Sweden, JULÄINE™ is made using high purity poly L lactic acid, also known as PLLA.
Its unique LASYNPRO™ technology uses precisely engineered microspheres that integrate smoothly into the skin. These microspheres encourage the skin’s fibroblast cells to produce new collagen, helping to rebuild its underlying support over time.

Unlike a traditional dermal filler, JULÄINE™ does not create an immediate or artificial change. Improvements develop progressively as your own collagen is renewed, creating subtle and natural looking results.

How does JULÄINE™ work?

JULÄINE™ contains poly L lactic acid microspheres that stimulate the skin’s fibroblast cells. This encourages your body to produce new collagen, gradually strengthening the skin and improving its firmness and appearance.

Is JULÄINE™ a dermal filler?

JULÄINE™ is a collagen biostimulator rather than a traditional hyaluronic acid filler. Dermal fillers are generally used to create more immediate volume or definition. JULÄINE™ works progressively by encouraging your skin to rebuild its own collagen.

When will I see results?

Some initial improvement may be visible following treatment, although this can partly be due to temporary swelling. The true results develop gradually as new collagen is produced over the following weeks and months.

How many treatments will I need?

Is the treatment painful?

Some discomfort may be experienced during an injectable treatment. A topical numbing cream will be applied beforehand to help keep you as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.

What is the difference between JULÄINE™ and Sculptra?

Both treatments use PLLA to stimulate natural collagen production. However, they use different formulations and technologies. JULÄINE™ features its proprietary LASYNPRO™ microsphere technology. Your practitioner can explain the differences and recommend the most suitable option for your skin and treatment goals.
