What is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal treatment is a non-invasive medical procedure used to destroy the hair follicle, reducing and eliminating regrowth of hair in undesired areas.
A concentrated light (laser beam) is absorbed by the hair melanin (this is what makes the hair a dark colour) and converts to heat energy. The heat reaches the hair root and safely destroys the unwanted hair follicle leaving the surrounding tissue and skin unharmed.
ABC Laser’s top of the range Soprano Titanium is an in motion device with a range of head sizes which makes covering larger areas quick, efficient and comfortable.
To effectively treat large areas of skin a course of treatments is recommended as laser light can only treat hair follicles in their anagen phase (often called their growing stage). We recommend a course with a minimum of 6 to 8 treatments to ensure a satisfying result!

What does the treatment feel like?
With the latest Soprano Titanium technology, the treatment is virtually pain-free. As the applicator glides smoothly over the area being treated you will feel a gentle warming sensation. As it is an in-motion treatment you don’t get the harsh snapping pain associated with some systems.
