About the treatment

In a standard medical aesthetic setting, we may use autologous products like PRP to rejuvenate the skin. MCT acts as an “enhancer” for these samples. What exactly are exosomes and why are they important?

Exosomes are essentially the “messengers” of the body. They are tiny vesicles that allow cells to communicate with one another by delivering essential information, such as microRNAs and growth factors. In aesthetics, we use these signals to tell your skin cells to repair, regenerate, and produce more collagen.

How is MCT different from standard PRP?

While PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is already a fantastic regenerative tool, MCT acts as a booster. The MCT device uses photothermal biomodulation to “awaken” the sample, extracting and maximising the number of available exosomes.
