My Menopause Centre – Take control and thrive!
Our consultation process is designed to provide you with a personalised, holistic menopause treatment plan, and the ongoing care and support that will help you take control of your menopause signs and symptoms. It takes just a few minutes to book an appointment.
During a 45-minute initial consultation, a doctor will listen to your story and work with you to determine an evidence-based approach to help you take control of your signs and symptoms, and from that, create a holistic menopause treatment plan that’s right for you.
Following the consultation, a doctor will email your personalised holistic treatment plan to you within five working days of your consultation. This will include advice on supplementation, lifestyle changes, coaching or therapy and recommend medicine, if appropriate. Medicines, follow-up appointments and any required tests will be charged separately.
Why not visit us on our Wellbeing Day on Thursday 7 November to hear Dr Surya discuss menopause and what may be available to help with your signs and symptoms?

My Menopause Centre FAQ’s
How does a face to face consultation work?
Upon booking, you will receive an email confirmation with details of your consultation. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of your consultation. One registration is complete you will be directed to the waiting room where the doctor will collect you.
How often will you see me after my initial consultation?
We would like to see you after three months if you have started hormone replacement therapy (HRT). This gives time for the HRT to work and any initial side effects to settle. If you’d like to be seen before three months, then, of course, you can book an appointment at an earlier date. After the initial follow-up, we recommend an annual review. If you are prescribed testosterone, you will need a follow-up appointment and blood test at three months, and then six to 12 months thereafter to continue to get prescriptions.
What qualifications do the doctors in the menopause clinic have?
All of the doctors working at My Menopause Centre have been trained in general practice or gynaecology. All have a particular interest in the menopause and are very experienced in managing the signs and symptoms of menopause. See more of our team of doctors and their qualifications here. If your NHS GP works with us here at the clinic, you will not be able to see them privately, but we will be happy to offer you a consultation with one of our other doctors.
How much does a consultation cost?
Your consultation costs £290. A follow-up consultation costs £220, any prescriptions, medicines or other tests will be charged separately.
Will I need a blood test?
If a blood test is recommended by your doctor, you can either provide your sample in the clinic on the day, or use our online service via Medichecks.
How can obtain my prescription?
If we recommend medication as part of your treatment plan, you request it be handled by our online pharmacy partner. Alternatively, we can send your prescription to a local pharmacy.
