Sculptra® Body is a bio-regenerative injectable treatment designed to improve skin firmness, smoothness, and contour by stimulating your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin.
Rather than providing instant volume like a traditional dermal filler, Sculptra® works gradually from within to strengthen the skin’s underlying structure and produce subtle, natural looking improvements.
Sculptra® contains poly-L-lactic acid, also known as PLLA. This biocompatible and biodegradable substance stimulates the skin’s natural regenerative processes, helping to rebuild structural support in areas affected by laxity, crepiness or uneven texture.
Results develop progressively as new collagen and elastin are produced. Improvements may begin to appear from around one month after treatment and continue to develop over the following months with peak results at 6 months.
