This effective and surgery that helps to rejuvenate the appearance of your eyes by removing excess skin and fat from your upper or lower eyelids.
Blepharoplasty is surgery to the upper or lower eyelid. Upper eyelid surgery involves making a judgment of how much excess skin can be surgically removed with or without a small amount of fat near the medial edge of the cut. The surgery can be done under local anaesthetic as a day case and takes about 30 minutes to perform.
All minor surgical procedures are conducted in our state of the art minor ops room. David Gateley, Consultant Plastic Surgeon will deliver this innovative care in a safe environment within a governance framework as stipulated by NHS England and in line with the CQC registration. All surgical wounds will be managed by the professional medical team.
If necessary, the specimen can be sent for histological examination (a specialist in microscopic identification of moles) and the appropriate referral made through Mr Gateley’s network of medical specialists.
The new Minor Ops Room offers efficient, safe minor surgery of the highest quality, using the most up to date equipment.
