Why do I need to use the Visia skin device before getting a facial?

VISIA imaging enables our specialists to evaluate the health and appearance of your skin based on six criteria that affect your complexion: wrinkles, spots, pores, evenness (skin tone colour variation), porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in your pores), and UV spots caused by overexposure to the sun. The analysis will also help us determine the most appropriate skin care products and treatment plan. Visia consultations should be booked in advance.

We work with several leading cosmeceutical brands including Obagi, Alastin, SkinCeuticals, Medik8, Intradermology, Dr Levy and more. These specialist skin products will be prescribed to you by professionals with extensive training and scientific knowledge. How long will it take for me to see the effects of my facial?

Immediate results
You can expect to see an increase in hydration and glow following your first facial. You may have some redness and blotchiness if extractions were required, a strong exfoliation was used such as a peel or you have a sensitive skin type. Please plan your appointment date appropriately.

Long-term results
