About the treatment

Not just another filler. Unlike hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, which add volume directly, Sculptra is a biostimulatory aesthetic injectable that helps stimulate your own natural collagen production to smooth facial wrinkles and improve skin tightness, revealing a refreshed-looking you. Ellansé is another collagen-stimulating injectable we offer, based on polycaprolactone rather than poly-L-lactic acid.

What is Sculptra™?

Sculptra™ is a synthetic injectable material known as poly-L-lactic acid. Poly-L-lactic acid is biocompatible (a material that does not harm the body) and biodegradable (able to be broken down by the body). Poly-L-lactic acid has been widely used for many years in dissolvable stitches, soft tissue implants, and other types of implants.

Who performs treatment with Sculptra™?

Our Plastic Surgeon Mr David Gateley performs the Sculptra™ treatment using the new cannula technique, which is considerably more effective and much more comfortable than regular injections.

Are the results from Sculptra™ immediate?

No. At your first treatment, it may appear that Sculptra™ worked immediately because of the swelling from the injections and the water used to dilute Sculptra™. In a few days, when the swelling goes down and the water is absorbed by your body you may look as you did before the treatment. Sculptra™ takes time to work, results should be noticeable after approximately 6 weeks. One of the Nakedhealth medical professionals will see you again in a few weeks to decide if you need more Sculptra™ injection
