For the safety of our staff and customers we are now closed
In line with the Government announcement on 04.01.21 we are not open for treatments until further notice and online bookings are suspended. We are pleased to support you by online Zoom consultations please request this by email or leave a voice message. We appreciate your support through online shopping for your skincare items and gift vouchers. Orders can also been made via email or voice message.
Our Medical Director, David Gateley, will keep us tuned in to government and medical information regarding COVID-19 infection transmission and we will reopen as soon as we feel it is appropriate.
Below are the measures we had in place to operate safely and this will apply as soon as we open again.
As a team, we meet on Zoom regularly to discuss the most robust and appropriate measures we can adopt to keep our staff and customers safe in the clinic and during treatments. As a CQC registered Clinic we are obliged to adhere to the most rigorous safety and hygiene procedures.
Everybody on the team understands the importance of this and is committed to taking responsibility for upholding the highest standards and levels of vigilance. This is how we propose to work to maintain our very high standards of hygiene and safety.
The day before your appointment
We will send you a questionnaire to ensure there is no risk you may have been in contact with the virus. Please complete and return immediately. We cannot admit you without this.
Arrival time
To limit the number of people waiting please arrive at the time of your appointment. If you are too early, you may need to wait outside. We have a door intercom to control this.
Temperature check
When you arrive we will take your temperature with an infra red thermometer and only admit you if it is within a normal range.
Track and Trace
Please scan the QR code at reception into your phone when you arrive.
One way system
To minimise exposure to other clients we are operating a clockwise one way system around the clinic.
WC
Our staff will be busy so please only use the loo in an emergency, and if you do please make sure that they are informed so that it can be sanitised.
Personal belongings
Please limit the personal belongings you bring with you like jewellery, clothing and bags. Do bring your glasses as there is extra paperwork to read and sign.
Come alone
We cannot allow anybody in the clinic unless they are attending an appointment, making a booking or purchasing products.
Please wear a mask
Please wear a mask until requested to remove it for your treatment. We will have them available should you not have one.
Staff PPE
Our team will be wearing personal protective equipment for their safety. It looks daunting but they are the same friendly, caring people underneath and are ready to look after you in the usual way.
Staggered appointments
Appointment times are set 10 minutes apart to minimise the number of people in reception.
Shopping
We have a shop stocked with all your favourite products. Please do not touch them, our staff will help you.
Hand sanitiser
Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the clinic. You will be asked to use this as soon as you arrive.
Limited seating
We have limited the seating available to ensure social distancing.
Staff uniforms
Staff uniforms will be laundered on site using an anti-viral washing agent and will be changed into on arrival.
Cleaning
A thorough cleaning protocol is in place which will be undertaken between every client and all touchpoints like door handles regularly throughout the day.
Reception
A perspex screen is in place on our front desk so that all transactions can be carried out safely.
The price of peace of mind
There will be an increase in most of our prices. This is for your peace of mind; we have the highest of standards in place and are unable to service our customers at the appropriate level or previous volume without considerable cost to the business.
Team training
All members of the team have received extensive training to ensure that all services and transactions are conducted in a safe, hygienic and professional manner.
Staff safety
All staff will be temperature checked on arrival and are obliged to disclose any contact they may have had with the virus. They will be working in two teams on a three week rotation so that should someone in one team become infected the other team can continue to work. Please be understanding if your usual practitioner is now available on different days.
Under constant review
We will be reviewing our working practices ongoing and will make changes as necessary.
COVID-19 Risk
COVID-19 has been declared a pandemic. Safety measures are in place to help prevent the spread of this contagious virus. It is important that all clients acknowledge and assume the risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 through undergoing treatments/procedures/surgery and will be asked to consent to treatment in this knowledge.
